Terms of Use

Last updated: October 19, 2026

By using BillLark you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What this service is

BillLark is a browser-based document template tool. It helps you lay out an invoice and print it to PDF. It is not accounting software, a payment processor, or a bookkeeping service.

2. Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is tax, legal or accounting advice. Tax labels, rates, invoice numbering rules and record-keeping requirements differ by country and by business type. You are responsible for the accuracy and legal validity of the invoices you issue.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Free plan and Pro plan

The free plan is provided as-is and may include a small branded footer on generated documents. Pro is a paid subscription that removes that footer and adds convenience features. Subscription fees are billed in advance and renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not create a refund for a period already used, except where required by law.

5. Availability

We aim to keep the site available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The tool works offline once loaded, which limits the impact of downtime.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BillLark is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from invoices you create, from data lost in your browser, or from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months.

7. Intellectual property

The site's design, code and copy belong to BillLark. The content you enter into the generator — your business details, client details and line items — remains yours.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
